This is a very simple answer. One you have violated the Acceptable Behavior policy, or two you have acted in the manner of the Unacceptable behavior policy. Therefore, if you can not act in a manner that is descent, than I do not wish to associate with you.
I am not expecting you to have any particular religious values, however I would expect that you treat me in a manner that you wished to be treated.
I would admit, if I ignored you, I would most likely not seek to have any association with you. The chances of you not being ignored is slim to none. Also, if I am not on when you are, I am not ignoring you. I am simply not on-line.
